Workshop Overview

This workshop is based upon "rapid cycles" or "bursts" of education/training followed by immediate application of the concepts learned.  The workshop will include:

Sessions of awareness-training to promote a change of thinking
Analysis and documentation of the current process
The learning and testing of "new" approaches
Development of a new vision for the work area
Rapid implementation
The measurement of results

Workshop Options

There are many ways to conduct the Process Improvement Workshop:
Focusing on one area of their business at a time, organizations may run a workshop
with one team working independently
A second option is for an organization to conduct a workshop for two, three or four
internal teams who will work together to Blitz one area at a time
IFM will customize the workshop to achieve the results your organization needs to accomplish.

Who participates in an Improvement Workshop?

Although representation may vary in organizations, participants selected for Blitz teams typically consist of:

Shop floor employees, generally the process owners
Internal or external customers
Internal or external suppliers
Supervisors, material planning, engineering and maintenance as support people
